Byron Sanders, a 6-9, 215 pound power forward from Harrison Central H.S. in Gulfport, Miss., is considering a list of eight schools this fall.

In addition to that trio, Sanders said he is also looking at Tulane, Alabama, Southeast Louisiana, Lamar and McNeese State.
Sanders said that he has yet to set up any in-home visits, although some of the colleges recruiting him have discussed setting up dates.
As a junior at Harrison Central, Sanders averaged 10 points and 12 rebounds per game. He said he has a 3.6 GPA and scored an 18 on the ACT.
Sanders first came to the attention of the Insiders Report at the Nike Memorial Day Classic in Indiana, where he played with the Gulf Coast Stars. While rough around the edges offensively, he has a solid frame and good mobility.
Sanders next played at the NBA Players Association Camp in Washington, D.C., followed by the Nike All-American Camp in Indianapolis.
He ended up the July circuit in the state of Florida, competing at the AAU Super Showcase with the Gulf Coast Stars and at the AAU Nationals with the Jackson Panthers.
