Busy Visitation Schedule for Mayfield

Rivals.com has received the visitation information for Jeremy Mayfield, the No. 97 ranked player in the Rivals150. The 6-foot-10, 225-pound power forward from Irving MacArthur (Texas) High School is in for two very busy months.
"Right now Jeremy is wide open. He will know more after some visits and in-home visits,” said Mayfield’s assistant AAU coach Craig Roberts of Team Fort Worth. “He will be visiting Nevada October 16 and then Nebraska October 29. Jeremy will take all five of his official visits .He'll probably visit Illinois and Miami, then decide between Colorado and Kansas State for the final visit.

“He will be taking an unofficial visit to Arkansas next week and Texas A&M on October 2nd. I think he'll make his decision about were he will play in late October."
Mayfield also has a slew of in-home visits scheduled for the month of September. The list includes North Texas September 9, Colorado September 11, Kansas and Nevada on September 12, Arkansas September 13, Kansas State September 14, Illinois September 16, UAB September 19, Texas A&M September 20, Miami September 21, Nebraska September 22, Baylor September 29, and USC September 30.
Athletic and mobile, Mayfield has a tremendous upside. More of a defender and rebounder at this point, he is raw offensively but has the skill base to develop a solid offensive game.
"I think Jeremy will do extremely well in college,” said Coach Roberts. “He is just scratching the surface as a player. He just got serious about it six months ago. The sky is definitely the limit for Jeremy Mayfield."
