Bullock Attracts D-1 Schools

Earl Bullock, a 6-1, 190 pound shooting guard from Southern Union State College in Wadley, Ala., has attracted Division I interest with his fine play as a sophomore.
Bullock averaged 11.7 points per game as a sophomore for the Bison, and shot 34 percent from beyond the three point arc.

Bullock shined in the post-season for Southern Union. In the opening round of the Alabama State/Region 22 Tournament, Bullock pumped in 30 points.
He also turned in a pair of solid performances last week at the NJCAA Tournament in Hutchinson, Kan., scoring 17 points (3/6 on treys) in the Bison's opening round victory over South Plains, and pouring in 18 points (4/8 from three) in a win over Itawamba C.C. of Mississippi.
In Southern Union's two losses, Bullock did not shoot the ball as well, so he was a bit of a barometer for his team's performances.
Southern Union Head Coach Ron Radford told JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com that Bullock had interest from Tennessee-Martin, Duquesne and Southern University this winter.
Bullock is on target to graduate and plans on signing a letter of intent this spring, and we'll keep you posted on his situation, so stay tuned.
