Bryant inks with SEC school

Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill Academy's last remaining senior starter has found a college home. Power forward Glenn Bryant signed a Letter of Intent to play in the SEC on Wednesday.
Bryant, 6-foot-8, 200-pounds, will be an Arkansas Razorback.

"Glenn feels like he fits into their style of play," said Oak Hill Academy head coach Steve Smith. "He likes Coach Pelphrey. Obviously he enjoyed his visit, and he felt like he bonded with the players."
Bryant, who also considered South Florida and UAB, officially visited Arkansas this past weekend.
Playing alongside Oklahoma signee Keith Gallon, Bryant averaged 12 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. He also blocked an impressive 216 shots.
"That's not a school record for blocked shots, but that is a whole lot of blocks for an Oak Hill player," said Smith.
Bryant, the No. 146 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, joins four-star prospect Marshawn Powell, Brandon Mitchell, Jemal Farmer, Anthony Borden and Julysses Nobles in the 2009 Arkansas recruiting class.
