Bryan Hopkins Has Eight Top Schools
Bryan Hopkins, a very athletic 5-11, 180 pound off guard from Lincoln H.S. in Dallas, Tex., led Team Texas to the Sweet 16 of this past weekend's Nike Memorial Day Classic in Bloomington, Ind.
Hopkins scored six points in Team Texas' elimination loss to Baltimore Blue on Sunday evening at the MDC. Hopkins is blessed with a lethal crossover dribble and big-time hops, which make him extremely dangerous off the dribble and in open court situations.

He told the Inisders Report that he is currently considering Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Texas, Arizona, Louisiana State and Tennessee.
As a junior at Lincoln, Hopkins averaged 20 points, 4.3 rebounds, six assists and four steals per game. He said he has an 87 average in the classroom and has achieved a qualifying SAT test score.
While most players' summers don't kick into high gear until July, Hopkins said he will attend both the USA Basketball trials in Colorado and the NBA Players Association Camp in Washington D.C. later this month. He will begin July at the Nike All-American Camp in Indianapolis, and then tour the Nike summer circuit with Team Texas Red.
