throughout the Midwest for schools looking for post players in the 2016 class.
Schools such as Michigan State, Purdue, Indiana,
Stanford, Xavier, Butler, Oklahoma and
Ole Miss have been involved in his recruitment to date.
Indiana was one of the first schools to jump into his recruitment and he's built
to strong relationship with the coaching staff in Bloomington.
"Indiana is very close to home," Brunk said. "I have a good relationship with
coach Crean and coach Buckley. I've known them for a while now."
Michigan State has had success over the years dipping down into Indiana for
talented prospects and it looks like they are trying to come back and snag Brunk
out of the Hoosier State.
"I've had good contact with coach Fife and coach Izzo," Brunk said. "They have
helped me a lot with my game. Coach Izzo is one of the best coaches. They play
the right way and play together. They are a fun team to watch."
Purdue's success with big men over the years and their success early this season
with freshman Isaac Haas has Brunk intrigued.
"I really like coach Painter," he said. "I really like the way they play. They
get the ball inside. They play hard and they play together."
Butler is working hard to keep Brunk in Indianapolis for college.
"I've had good contact with coach Holtman," Brunk said. "I talk to him a lot. I
was over at a game there earlier this year with my dad."
Brunk's main focus right now is his junior season. Recruiting is taking a
backseat for him.
"As of right now, I don't have any timeline. I'm just focused on my high school
season right now and winning games. That's my main focus. I'm still a long ways
away from deciding."
