Brundidge finds his fit

Coach John Beilein has a fondness for shooters, and he now has a quality shooter Carlton Brundidge in his 2011 recruiting class.
Brundidge, a 6-foot, 200-pound shooting guard from Southfield (Mich.) High School, was looking closely at Michigan and Michigan State. His comfort level with Coach Beilein was the major force that propelled him to commit after his morning workout today.

"Carlton had a workout at six this morning," said Brundidge's father Clennie Brundidge. "Coach Beilein and two other coaches were there. After the workout Carlton texted me to say he had committed.
"He was primarily looking at Michigan and Michigan State, weighing the pros and cons of both schools. Carlton was comfortable with Coach Beilein's approach, enthusiasm, vision and his relentless pursuit of him."
Brundidge, the No. 98 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, also has some family ties to Michigan. His sister is in the doctoral program and his mother is in the masters program at the university.
He is the first commitment in Michigan's 2011 recruiting class.
