Brumbaugh waiting till spring

The No. 13 ranked player in the Rivals150 Keith Brumbaugh will not be signing with Florida State, or anyone for that matter, during the early signing period. The 6-foot-8, 205-pound combo forward from DeLand (Fla.) High School does not want to rush into a decision and wants to check out a couple other schools.
“No, I will not be signing,” said Brumbaugh. “I will be waiting until the spring.

“I just don’t want to make a wrong decision. Florida State is still my leader, but I am not sold on them yet. There are a couple things involved that I just don’t want to talk about. It’s not like they don’t want me, and my grades are good and my test score is fine.”
Brumbaugh has been working on his strength and jumping ability this fall, and admits that his ultimate goal is to get as good as he can as fast as he can, so he can play as soon as possible in the NBA.
“The NBA has a little bit to do with me waiting, but more than anything, I want to look at a couple other schools, like Florida and Georgia,” he said.
Brumbaugh averaged 25 points and 10 rebounds per game during his junior season.
