Brown to deliver for the Flames

Commitments made very early during a high school kid's career can be a dicey proposition. Marc Brown is well aware of that fact.
As a freshman in Atlanta, the 6-foot-4 small forward made a commitment to Florida State. As time went on, he and the Seminoles went their separate directions and they finally made a divorce official over the summer.

Now a senior at Dallas (Texas) Wilson, Brown is back on his feet and has found a new college home. After a visit a few weekends ago, he'll play for UIC and head coach Howard Moore.
"When I went on the visit, I felt like I had a good relationship with the coaches," Brown told Rivals.com affiliate Texashoops.com. "I'm going there knowing that I can help them win a lot of games."
