Kelvin Brown, a 6-7, 225 pound sophomore power forward from Fort Scott C.C. in Fort Scott, Kan., is a transfer looking to bounce back to the Division I level next fall.
Brown, who played with the Greyhounds this past weekend at the CMSU Jamboree in Warrensburg, Mo., came to Fort Scott after spending a year at the University of South Florida.

A native of Lauderhill, Fla., Brown attended Dillard H.S. in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., prior to landing at USF.
Fort Scott Head Coach Brette Tanner told Rivalshoops.com that Kansas State and Illinois State have expressed preliminary interest in Brown this fall.
Brown's recruitment will likely be affected by how he plays in some major early season events like the Jayhawk Shootout in Kansas. Rivalshoops.com hopes to attend that event, and we'll keep you posted on his situation in the months to come, so stay tuned.
