Bron Groomes Has Top Three List
Bron Groomes, a long and athletic 6-7, 215 pound power forward from San Bernardino Valley C.C. in San Bernardino, Calif., recently took an official visit to Portland State.
A native of New York City, Groomes is being looked at this fall by Portland State, Northern Arizona, Georgia State and Division II Chaminade.

According to San Bernardino Valley Head Coach John D. Smith, Groomes visited Portland State from Sept. 21-23.
An athletic and mobile big man who is active on the offensive glass, Groomes also has the ability to step out and shoot it to midrange distances. However, he does not have the ball handling skills to play the small forward position.
Groomes played at South Plains J.C. in Texas two years ago, and red-shirted last year at San Bernardino Valley.
