Bron Groomes Has A List

Bron Groomes might think he's a wing forward, but the 6-7, 210 pound sophomore from San Bernardino Valley College is at his best when he is scrapping around the basket.
A native New Yorker, Groomes struggled a bit when JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com caught him in action at the recent Riverside City College Basketball Tournament.

Groomes hoisted up and missed four three point baskets in a 61-39 loss to Irvine Valley College. He also hit just two of six free throws and finished the contest with six points and four rebounds.
But Groomes is a better player than what he showed on that afternoon. JUCO Junction had a chance to catch him in action this past September at the Fullerton Showcase.
A mobile run/jump athlete, Groomes is active around the basket when he plays on the interior. And while he can step out and drill the occasional jumper, it's really not his forte at this stage of the game.
SBV Head Coach John Smith told JUCO Junction that Groomes has seen interest this fall from Portland State, Loyola Marymount and Albany. He took one fall visit to Portland State.
Groomes plans on signing a letter of intent this spring, so JUCO Junction will keep you abreast on his recruitment as the winter unfolds.
