Brian Johnson Has List Of 6

Brian Johnson, a highly skilled 6-8, 232 pound junior power forward from Bishop O'Connell H.S. in Arlington, Va., said he is considering a list of six schools.
One of the top prospects in the Class of 2004, Johnson said that North Carolina leads Maryland, Duke, Miami, UCLA and Florida early on in his recruiting process.

"I am going to let the process play out," Johnson said. "I am not in a rush -- I am having fun. I'm only 16-years old and this is a big decision I have to make."
Last season as a sophomore at O'Connell, Johnson averaged 18 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and four blocks per game. He said he has a 2.9 GPA and will take the SAT for the first time this Saturday, Oct. 12.
Johnson has already taken unofficial visits to Duke, North Carolina and Maryland.
Next summer, he plans on attending the Nike All-American Camp in Indianapolis, as well as the USA Youth Development Festival in Colorado Springs. He will also try out for the USA National team that will compete at the COPABA Championships. He made that team this past season as a rising junior and traveled to Venezuela.
We will have more information on Johnson a bit later, in the form of a Q&A, so stay tuned.
