Brewsters Threes Sink National Christian

MILFORD, Del. -- Brewster Academy sank 12 three pointers and rode the hot hand of Adrian Joseph (right) in downing National Christian Academy, 107-99, on Saturday morning at the War on the Shore.
Joseph, a 6-foot-7 small/combo forward bound for Virginia, scored 15 of his team high 22 points in the second half as the Bobcats pulled away from the Eagles.

Trailing 52-51 at the half, Brewster opened the second half with a 19-6 run to assume a comfortable 71-57 lead with 11:04 remaining. Joseph scored seven points in the run, which he capped with a bucket off a nice feed from 6-foot-7 forward Michael Binns.
Joseph was one of six Bobcat players to hit for double figures. Cedrick Middleton tallied 20 points, Deion James pumped in 18 and Binns collected 18 points and 13 rebounds for Brewster.
After scoring 19 points in the first half, sophomore small forward Kevin Durant scored just four in the second half for National Christian. He led all scorers with 23 points.
St. Joe's bound point guard Abdulai Jalloh added 21 points, while 6-foot-7 Virginia Tech bound small forward Deron Washington tallied 19 points, six rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks for the Eagles.
