Brewer Closing In On Decision

One of the top remaining uncommitted shooting guards in the nation, Ronnie Brewer from Fayetteville (AR) High School, told RivalsHoops.com that he has finished up his official visits. "I am going to cut my list down to two schools in the next few days," Brewer said. "Then I will make my decision next week and sign with the school."
The signing period begins this Wednesday and lasts through next Wednesday. "I am still considering Oklahoma, Connecticut, Oklahoma State and Arkansas," Brewer said. "I don't have a favorite now but the two schools are becoming more clear to me."

Brewer declined to say what two schools. But he spoke highly of his visits to all four schools, especially Oklahoma. "My host was Hollis Price and I really liked hanging out with him," Brewer said. "It was a great atmosphere there. I had a chance to watch a football game (Iowa State matchup). So it was a lot of fun."
Brewer said of his Connecticut visit: "I hung out with Ben Gordon and Emeka Okafor. It was like normal life there when I went on my visit. I liked that."
Brewer also praised Oklahoma State and Arkansas. "I liked them two. They have great programs too and I like the coaches at those schools too. It's going to be a tough decision. The atmospheres at those schools was very good too."
Brewer, who is rated a 4-star prospect and the 11th best shooting guard in the nation by RivalsHoops.com, goes about 6-foot-6, and 190-pounds. Last season Brewer averaged 26 points, nine rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocks per game.
