Breakout PG down to five

One of the biggest breakout stars of the summer, point guard Wabissa Bede's outstanding play for the Mass Rivals will be rewarded with a four-star spot in the 2017 Rivals150 when it is updated at the end of the month.

In the meantime, the 6-foot-1 floor general from Ashburnham (Mass.) Cushing Academy is being rewarded with scholarship offers from all across the country.

Tuesday, Bede told Rivals.com that he's cut his list of schools down to five finalists.

Making the cut are Butler, La Salle, Minnesota, UMass and Virginia Tech.

Bede told Rivals.com that his first official visit is set for Butler the weekend of August 25th and that he's also set his first in home visit with Virginia Tech for September 11th.

Bede is expected to sign in the fall and should be finalizing the rest of his visits in the near future.
