Brandon Bender Update
Brandon Bender, a 6-10, 232-pound freshman power forward/center from Louisville, told us last night that he is still open in transferring to another school.
"I have a short list of schools right now," Bender told us. "Charlotte, Alabama, and San Diego State." But Bender said he is open in his process and won't start taking visits for a while.

Bender says he does not have a leader and is still in the process of talking to the schools that are interested in him. "I am at Kentucky to finish out the semester," Bender said. "Then I will start taking my visits."
But as of posting this story, there has not been one visit set up. Bender played last year at Ballard H.S. in Louisville, Kentucky. Bender had also taken a trip to Kentucky during his recruiting process last year. While he was on that Kentucky visit, he met up with the other UK recruits.
"Carruth, Hayes, and Carrier were there too," Bender said after his visit. "I really like Cliff Hawkins."
But when Rick Pitino took over the program at Louisville, Bender thought he had a perfect match. More on this later on rivalshoops.com.
Bender also considered Connecticut, DePaul and Colorado at one time during his recruiting process.
