Branch is wide-open

The recruiting process is moving along quite smoothly for Kevin Branch. The 6-foot-4, 185-pound shooting guard from Reserve Christian High School in LaPlace, La., recently conducted two in-home visits. Furthermore, several other high-major programs continue to show a serious interest in the three-star prospect.
"Tulane and New Orleans came by the house for in-home visits," said Kevin Branch, Sr. "We are also talking to Wichita State, Oklahoma and Tennessee. There are a lot of schools interested in Kevin right now, but I know that we've had recent conversations with Tulane, New Orleans, Wichita State, Oklahoma and Tennessee."

Throughout his recruitment, Branch has received interest from the likes of Baylor, Florida State, Illinois, Kentucky, Miami-FL, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Southern California, Texas A&M, Tulane (offer), Virginia, Wake Forest and others.
According to Mr. Branch, his son is not even close to making a decision about his future. They plan to take their time with the recruiting process, take some visits and consider all if their options.
"We don't have any visits scheduled just yet, but that's something we plan to do in the very near future," said Branch. "I know that Kevin plans to use all five visits, but I couldn't tell you what schools he is going to visit. He is wide-open right now and everybody is even.
"I would imagine that my son will begin to schedule some visits in the near future, but I don't know for sure," he added. "What I do know is that Kevin plans to take all five official visits before picking a school."
