Bradley to Big East

Three-star post player Michael Bradley of Chattanooga (Tenn.) Tyner Academy burst onto the national scene with his strong play in Orlando at the end of the summer. Now he is headed to the Big East.
Connecticut head coach Jim Calhoun was in the gym to watch the No. 1 ranked prospect in 2012 and his main recruiting target Andre Drummond when Calhoun watched another prospect play Drummond toe to toe. Now that other prospect- Michael Bradley- is headed to Connecticut.

"UConn gives me a chance to compete and develop at the highest level," said the 6-foot-9, 215-pound Bradley.
Bradley is the typical under recruited big man that UConn has had success in developing during the Jim Calhoun era. In fact Bradley received the bulk of his recruiting attention from the low to mid-major level and chose Connecticut over Drake.
"I felt just as comfortable at both schools as far as fitting in and liking the players," said Bradley. "The difference is what UConn can do for me as far as developing."
Bradley is the second 2010 Connecticut commitment along with four-star shooting guard Jeremy Lamb.
Bradley averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds per game during his junior high school season.
