TEANECK, NEW JERSEY -- Brad Buckman, a 6-8, 210-pound workhorse from Westlake High School in Austin, Texas, is one of the better forwards available in the class of 2002.

Buckman is showcasing his skills here at the ABCD camp on the campus of FDU. Buckman, who plays with the Bucks here at the camp, has impressed many onlookers with his fundamental knowledge of the game.

Buckman told us he was pretty much wide open but hearing from Missouri, Stanford, Kansas, Oklahoma, Syracuse, and Texas. "I have not ruled out any school," Buckman said. "I have not really thought much about my recruiting so far."

Well, Buckman better think about it soon. Because he might have a big list of schools if he keeps the list open. Buckman is very athletic and battles for every loose ball. He has a sweet stroke on his jumper.

"I am trying to work on my step out game," Buckman said. "I think I have a good inside game."

He does. But everything along with it is special too. Make no mistake about it -- Buckman is one of the best players here at the ABCD camp.
