Boyd Changes Mind

One of the better transitional players in the 2003 class has held off on signing a letter of intent. Zakee Boyd, 6-3, 175-pounds from Philadelphia Lutheran in Pennsylvania who made a verbal commitment to the Hartford basketball program two months ago, has not signed a letter of intent. It's unclear on where Boyd will end up in the Spring but right now his commitment is off the table.
Boyd, a player RivalsHoops.com has watched on many occasions, is a high-energy recruit who can finish strong in transition. Boyd has had some great games when RivalsHoops.com has been in the stands. He can move well to the basket and when his game is really cooking, Boyd's perimeter game allows him to score points in bunches.
Boyd would have fit in nicely at Hartford, a school that likes to push the ball up the court and beat slower defenders. Boyd has that ability to beat players up the court for easy baskets.
