Bowie favoring three

Three-star 2007 prospect Adrian Bowie finished his 20-2 season with Montrose Christian High School in Greenbelt, Md., with a game winning put back against previously undefeated Oak Hill Academy. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound shooting guard is now ready to play with the Triple Threat AAU club, and he has three schools at the top of his list.
"My top schools are Connecticut, Florida and Georgetown," said Bowie. "I like their style of play, the coaches and the atmosphere. They all like to get up and down the court and they play defense.

"Getting up and down the court, playing defense and attacking the basket are the things I do best. My shot is looking good, but it can still get better."
Bowie also named Florida State, Michigan, Virginia and Texas as other schools of interest that are recruiting him.
Fending for himself on a very talented Montrose Christian squad, Bowie expects to get the ball in his hands more with Triple Threat.
"I played the 2 and 3 for Montrose," he said. "We didn't really have any plays for me, so I had to score off the fastbreak and look for opportunities to create. I'll play the 2 for Triple Threat, but I will also get a chance to run the point."
Adrian Bowie scouting report:
Bowie is a physical combo guard who excels on the defensive end. A lefty, he loves to attack the basket with either hand on offense. At times he can force the issue too much, and his outside shot has room for improvement.
