One official visit was all it took for Matt Bouldin, the No. 45 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, to know where he wanted to go to school. The 6-foot-5, 199-pound combo guard from ThunderRidge High School in Denver, Colo., will be a Bulldog at basketball crazy Gonzaga.

"I've committed to Gonzaga," Bouldin told Rivals.com. "When I got back from my visit, I knew in my heart that it was the perfect place for me. It is a very good program, and they do a great job with guards like me.
"Basketball is everything to everyone there. I got along with the players, and the coaching staff is tremendous."
Bouldin ultimately chose Gonzaga over Notre Dame and California.
"I also liked Notre Dame, and I really liked Cal," he said. "I had a great relationship with the people at Cal and made it out there as a junior for an unofficial. I was supposed to go to Notre Dame sometime this week, but I knew it wouldn't be right to go when I knew I wanted to go to Gonzaga."
A gesture by Coach Few during last season made a very big impression on Bouldin as to how badly Gonzaga wanted him as a player.
"Coach Few hadn't missed a practice in a couple years, and he came out to Denver last season to see me and actually missed a practice," he said. "I just thought that was awesome."
Matt Bouldin scouting report:
Bouldin has tremendous size and strength for a point guard. A very good rebounder for his position, he can find the open man early in the open court and also has the ability to get into the lane off a near perfect hesitation move. Also shoots the ball well from the arc. Defensively he will struggle against a quick point guard that also has shooting range.
