Boubacar Has Top 4

Boubacar Coly, the 6-9, 230 pound big forward from Laurinburg Insitute in Laurinburg, NC, has four top schools according to Laurinburg's head coach, Chris Chaney.
"They are Mississippi, Wake Forest, Maryland and Georgia," Chaney said during this week's adidas ABCD camp on Fairleigh Dickinson's campus. "He took unofficial visits to Ole Miss and Wake." Koundjia earlier indicated that Kentucky, Texas, St. Bonaventure, George Washington and La Salle are also recruiting him.

This past season at Laurinburg, Coly averaged 15.5 points, 12.5 rebounds and six blocks per game. Chaney said he has a 3.0 GPA and hasn't got the score back from the SAT taken last month. He will retake the test in the fall.
Coly averaged 8.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks this week. The native of Africa will be returning for his second year with Chaney's program at Laurinburg. He is a strong force in the paint and can also hit perimeter jumpers.
After ABCD, Coly will rest for a week and a half before heading out to Las Vegas and Hawaii for tournaments with the Atlanta Celtics program.
