The second signing period for high school seniors is just around the corner and with high school and college seasons ending, there's one last push to find players. Three-star wing Both Gach is hoping that plays into his favor.

A native of Minnesota who now attends Phoenix (Ariz.) Compass Prep, the 6-foot-7 senior feels like he's made big strides during his senior season.

“I think it’s going pretty well," Gach told Rivals.com. "I’m doing better academically and getting my grades where thye need to be. I’m getting better as a basketball player too. I’m lifting, I’m learning from my coaches.

“My strength is I’m a playmaker for my teammates. I can do a little bit of everything. I can score, get rebounds and get assists. I think I can have a good handle and can play about any position and I have length I use on defense so I’m a good defender.”

Holding offers from Southern Utah and North Dakota, Gach has been picking up more interest from programs like Utah, LSU, Gonzaga, Oklahoma, New Mexico and New Mexico State among others.

“I want to be more of a polished guard," said Gach. "I want to see things quicker for my teammates and myself and I want to score the ball at a higher level.”

To date, Gach hasn't used any official visits. He's waiting to see how the programs recruiting him seasons finish out and how their rosters shake out and then he'll look to set visits.

“I’m just focused on my academics right now," said Gach. "I’m just going to look for a place where I can fit into the program and system and have some chance to play point guard. I’m also going to be working developing and building the relationships with coaches.”
