Josh Boone, a lanky 6-9, 205 pound power forward from South Carroll H.S. in Sikesville, Md., will take a visit to Connecticut tomorrow.
Boone, who played at the National AAU tournament for Cecil-Kirk of Baltimore, Maryland, elevated is stock after a great summer. Boone, who has a 3.5 GPA and a 1200 on his SAT, is an active presence on the glass and has improved his defensive intensity over the past year.
Boone will play this season at West Nottingham Academy in Maryland. Boone told us that he is also interested in St. Joe's, Rutgers, South Carolina, Virginia, Xavier, and Pittsburgh. Each of these schools have offered a scholarship.
He is also considering Boston College, Stanford, Georgetown, Maryland, and Kansas. But this list is likely to change. Connecticut was one of the more recent schools to evaluate Boone.
