Boone Selects Connecticut

Josh Boone, a talented 6-8, 205-pound forward from West Nottingham Academy in Maryland, finished up his phone calls, according to several sources close to Boone. Boone called Kansas and Rutgers last night. He spoke to Virginia and Georgetown this morning as well as Connecticut. Boone did make a commitment to Connecticut, as reported earlier today by Rob Matera.

Matera's report is accurate, according to our sources. Boone will make it official tomorrow at his press conference.

It's known that the schools involved with Boone in the process loved his game. The staff of Connecticut was very high on Boone and immediately offered him a free ride after watching him play in Orlando in late July during the National AAU tournament. Boone was exceptional and the coaches that watched him in person immediately offered a scholarship.
