Boone Ready To Make Decision

No one really knows what Josh Boone, a talented 6-8, 205-pound forward from West Nottingham Academy in Maryland, will do tomorrow at his press conference. Yes, Boone will pick a school. But what school?
It's likely that Boone, who told us last night he was in the process of calling schools with his decision, will land in the Big East. A source close to Boone told us he wants to stay close to home. But does this favor Georgetown? Well, Josh wouldn't say. What we do know is that Kansas, Virginia, and Rutgers are longshots right now in the process. So there is some suspense in Josh's announcement tomorrow.

It's known that the schools involved with Boone in the process love his game. Many of these programs watched Boone play in Orlando in late July during the National AAU tournament. Boone was exceptional and the coaches that watched him in person immediately offered a scholarship.
So Boone has the best of both worlds. He is a player on the rise who will have a chance to play in a major conference. The Big East is the conference likely to land Boone with Georgetown and Connecticut very strong in his recruiting process.
