Boone Has High D-1 Interest

Josh Boone is a dream recruit. He is skilled on the court and an excellent student. When he showcased those skills for several coaches at the National AAU tournament in Orlando, Florida last month, many big name programs have offered a scholarship.
Boone, a lanky 6-9, 205 pound power forward from South Carroll H.S. in Sikesville, Md., played at the National AAU tournament for Cecil-Kirk of Baltimore, Maryland. Boone, who has a 3.5 GPA and a 1200 on his SAT, is an active presence on the glass and has improved his defensive intensity over the past year.

Boone will play this season at West Nottingham Academy in Maryland. Boone told us that Connecticut, St. Joe's, Rutgers, South Carolina, Virginia, Xavier, and Pittsburgh have offered a scholarship.
He is also considering Boston College, Stanford, Georgetown, Maryland, and Kansas. But this list is likely to change. Connecticut was one of the more recent schools to evaluate Boone.
The Insiders Report will keep in touch with Boone over the coming months and keep you abreast on any changes in his recruitment.
