Boatright picks Mountaineers

Before he'd even started high school, Ryan Boatright caused a stir when he committed to USC and their coach at the time, Tim Floyd. Floyd left amidst NCAA chaos and Boatright backed off of his decision and opened things up until now.
Monday afternoon, the #48 player in the class of 2011 selected West Virginia during a press conference at Aurora (Ill.) East.

Though he's only about 5-10 or 5-11, the slim Boatright is an exciting and dangerous player. He uses his well above average athleticism and quickness to score in the and at the rim like a much bigger player, is a streak shooter and can get others involved when he's surrounded by talent.
A four-star prospect, Boatright played for the Derrick Rose All-Stars in the summer and joins four-star forward Tommie McCune and three-star forward Aaron Brown as Mountaineer pledges.
