Prior to his Thursday announcement, there wasn't a lot of mystery about which school Quinn Cook was going to pick. Heading into his announcement, it was wisely believed that he would pick Duke.

If there was any suspense remaining, Myck Kabongo helped to end it when he picked Texas for the second time.
Regardless of circumstance, Cook still had to announce for the Blue Devils over UCLA and he did so on ESPNU.
"Next year I'll be playing basektball at Duke University," said the nation's 28th ranked player. "It was just my relationship with Coach K. We had the best relationship."
A clever, confident and skilled scoring point guard, Cook is a senior at Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill after starting his career at Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha.
The four-star point prospect sees himself as a good fit at Duke and is looking forward to playing with the nation's top prospect, Austin Rivers.
"It's going to be scary for a lot of opponents," said Cook. "We're going to get in the gym and get our chemistry together.
Currently, Duke has the second highest ranked 2011 recruiting class and Cook joins an outstanding group that includes Rivers, Michael Gbinije and Marshall Plumlee.
