Bledsoe picks up SEC offer

Three-star 2009 prospect Eric Bledsoe moved up to the 17-under Alabama Challenge squad for the Peach Jam event and secured an SEC offer in the process. The 6-foot, 160-pound point guard from Birmingham (Ala.) Hayes High School told Rivals.com that he has three schools that standout to him.
"Ole Miss offered during the Peach Jam," said Bledsoe. "UAB has also offered, and Florida, Marquette, Louisville, Missouri and Georgia are all in contact with my coach.

"I really like Florida because of the way they push the ball. And Ole Miss and UAB are both up there at the top also because they are the first two schools to offer me."
Slated to play with the 16-under squad for the Super Showcase in Orlando, Bledsoe will stick around to play with the 17-under squad in the AAU Nationals.
A leader from the point guard position with strong court vision and distributing skills, Bledsoe is focused on improving his shooting skills.
"I'm working everyday on my midrange jumper," he said. "I'm shooting a ton of pull up jumpers."
