Blanks Says Hell Transfer and Reclassify

LAS VEGAS -- Lefty swingman LaKeith Blanks of the D.C. Assault program informed the Insiders Report on Wednesday that he will transfer high schools and repeat his junior year of high school.
Blanks, a 6-5 scorer deluxe, hopes to find a permanent home at his new destination, which will be National Christian Academy in Fort Washington, Md.

That of course is no big surprise, since Assault Asst. Coach Trevor Brown is also the head coach at National Christian.
If Brown does follow through with the transfer, NCA will be his fifth high school in four years.
He started out his high school career at Central H.S. just outside the district, and then transferred to Largo H.S. in Largo, Md.
He then enrolled at now defunct Emmanuel Full Gospel H.S. in North Carolina before that school shut its doors this past fall. That necessitated a transfer to Dunbar.
Now Blanks is hoping to focus on his academics in one place for the next two years at National Christian.
The Insiders Report has had several chances to watch Blanks play over the past few months, and simply put, he is a scorer. He can slash from the wing and finish, or his streaky three point stroke can burn defenses.
Many mid-majors, including Bobby Gonzales' Manhattan Jasper program, were highly interested in Blanks this summer, but it appears that they will all have to wait another year to recruit LaKeith in earnest.
