Blalock Still Open

One of the better guards still uncommitted is Will Blalock, an energetic 5-11, 165 pound backcourt player from Roxbury, Mass. Blalock is going to visit Iowa State the weekend of October 25th. But there are many others who are still pursuing this talented recruit. Memphis, Pittsburgh, and George Washington have remained high on Blalock's list.

Providence and Alabama were previously mentioned. Blalock, now at Notre Dame Prep for the 2002-2003 school year, put up big numbers last winter at East Boston H.S. Will averaged 20 points, seven assists and three steals per contest.

Blalock is a very aggressive player who loves to dart into the lane and force chaos for the defense. He is a great athlete too and seems to always finish his drives to the basket.
