It is decision time for four-star prospect Tarik Black of Memphis Ridgeway High School. The 6-foot-7, 230-pound center will announce his college choice today at a press conference today at 5:00 PM Central.
Black, who just returned from an official visit to Florida and is also being recruited by Alabama, Marquette and Tennessee, is expected to announce his intention to sign with Memphis.
If he does indeed ink with the Tigers, Black will solidify the 2010 Memphis class as unquestionably the top recruiting class in the country.
First year head coach Josh Pastner already has Jelan Kendrick (No. 8), Will Barton (No. 11), Joe Jackson (No. 12), Chris Crawford (No. 66), Antonio Barton and Hippolyte Tsafack in the fold.
Black, an athletic shot blocker and rebounder, is the No. 47 ranked prospect in the Rivals150.
