Bishop a Quick Floor General

Dominic Bishop, a lightning quick 6-0 point guard from Maine Central Institute in Pittsfield, Me., has generated some recruiting interest this winter with his play.
A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Bishop has a tremendous first step and is able to penetrate quite effectively. He need to stay under control on his drives and make the right decisions with the basketball, which at times can be an issue that detracts from his speed.

MCI Head Coach Ed Jones told Rivalshoops.com that Morgan State and Division II Kentucky Wesleyan like Bishop quite a bit.
Rivalshoops.com first liked Bishop when we saw him two years ago playing for the Albany City Rocks. He played quite well for the GC Ballers program at last June's Rumble in the Bronx program, showing an improved stroke from the perimeter.
Bishop will be playing in a pair of games at this upcoming weekend's National Prep School Invitational. MCI is slated to play at 10 p.m. on Friday [vs. Grass Roots Canada] and 5:15 p.m. on Saturday [vs. Laurinburg Prep].
Rivalshoops.com will continue to keep you posted on Bishop and other unsigned players in the Class of 2003, so keep it here for the top coverage of the prep ranks on the internet.
