Billings Narrows List to Two, Nearing Decision

N. AUGUSTA, S.C. -- Anytime a great player is missing from the lineup, you've got to search around and dig sometimes to find out the scoop.
So while watching a quick segment of the game between Riverside Church and The Family on Thursday night at the Nike Peach Jam, it quickly became apparent that The Family had lost one of its members -- Ricardo Billings.

Enter Vince Baldwin, an assistant coach with The Family and a former IR colleague with the popular Midwest Hoops site and Prep Spotlight publication.
Baldwin told the Insiders Report that Billings (pictured right), a slashing 6-3 off guard from Rogers H.S. in the Motor City, missed the Peach Jam due to a torn calf muscle.
On top of that, Baldwin said that Billings has chopped his list to two schools, and will pick between Michigan State and Ohio State.
Baldwin said he expected a decision by Billings within the next two weeks.
"It's going to be one of those two schools, definitely," Baldwin said.
IR/Rivalshoops.com will most definitely keep you posted on Billings' decision when it comes down the pike.
