Big West Signings

Here are some of the signings announced by Big West schools during the National Letter of Intent early signing period.
Utah State picked up a center from Pocatello, Idaho in 6-10, 215 pound Steve Cobbley. Cobbley averaged 15 points and 8.8 rebounds per game as a junior last season for Highland High School. He's been on the honor roll in each of his three years at Highland High School.

He chose the Aggies over BYU, Washington State, Gonzaga and Idaho State.
Utah State also signed 5-11, 160 pound point guard Mark Brown from Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, CA.

Idaho signed 6-2, 180 pound shooting guard Delvin Spruel who completed his junior college career last season at Lee Junior College in Baytown, TX.
Spruel, a 1999 graduate of Redemptorist School at Baton Rouge, LA, averaged 18.1 points and 4.2 assists per game during his career at Lee JC. Last season, he led the team in scoring and shooting accuracy (field goal, three-point and free throw).

Pacific picked up 6-2 shooting guard Myree Bowden who is now at Cabrillo College in Santa Cruz, CA. A native of Bakersfield, CA, Bowden spent his freshman year at Arizona Western College in Yuma, AZ, averaging 15.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.
