Big Texan is close

Now that he has visited three of his top four schools, Josh Lomers, the No. 30 ranked player in the class of 2006, is closing in on a decision. The 7-foot, 250-pound center from Boerne, Texas, told Rivals.com that he should have a decision in a couple weeks.
"I'm still considering Baylor, Georgia Tech, Colorado and Texas A&M," said Lomers. "I should have a decision in a couple weeks."

Although Lomers would not reveal a leader to Rivals.com, he did say that he does not plan to visit Texas A&M. This past weekend Lomers visited Baylor after having already taken official visits to Georgia Tech and Colorado.
"The Baylor visit went well," said Lomers. "It was different than the other two visits because I was already familiar with the school. I used the trip as an opportunity to get to know the coaches and players better. I had a chance to play with the team, and that was lots of fun."
Lomers, who plays for Team Hoop Zone in the summer, is diligently working on his game while he works through his recruitment.
"I need to continue working on my movement and footwork away from the basket," he said. "I also need to continue to work on my defense."
Josh Lomers scouting report
Lomers takes up a lot of space with his size. Not an explosive athlete, but he is coordinated and agile. He also has nice touch and the ability to score with his back to the basket.
