Big Ten Trip For Transfer

Shane Power, a 6-5, 210-pound forward who is transferring from Iowa State, said his first four visits have gone as good as expected. "It's going to be a tough decision," Power said. "Every visit I have taken has been very good."
Power has now taken official visits to Pittsburgh, New Mexico, Mississippi State, and Virginia. He also took an unofficial visit to the Notre Dame campus. "I still might take one more visit," Power said. "I might visit Wisconsin. I am just unsure if it can be done at this time."

Power told us that if he visits Wisconsin the visit will take place this weekend. "I hope to have a decision by next week," Power said. "Whether I take the visit or not I hope to have a decision next week."
Power had a terrific sophomore season in the Big 12 and is one of the better transfers available right now. Power, a native of Crown Point, Ind., started all 31 games last season, averaging 13.6 ppg and 4.5 rpg. Power was a honorable mention all-Big 12 pick.
Power previously mentioned South Carolina but they appear to be off the radar screen right now. Power, who led Iowa State in steals with 37, was also second on the team in assists with 73.
