Big Ten school lands Taylor

One Big Ten school pursued four-star prospect Diamond Taylor with more vigor than any other school. And the effort to land the 6-foot-3, 170-pound guard from Westchester (Ill.) St. Joseph's High School paid off.
With offers from Arizona State, Marquette, Notre Dame, Bradley, Northern Illinois, Southern Illinois, Illinois and Wisconsin, Taylor has committed to the Wisconsin Badgers according to his travel team coach Mike Mullins of the Illinois Wolves.

A skilled prospect with upside, Taylor is in the process of adding bulk to his body for the rigors of Big Ten play.
Taylor, the No. 67 ranked prospect in the class of 2009 joins small forward Mike Bruesewitz as the second 2009 commitment for Wisconsin.
