Big Mans Visit Goes Well

Several sources indicate that Grant Billmeier (right), a 6-10, 230 pound power forward/center from St. Patrick H.S. in Elizabeth, N.J., had a terrific visit to the campus of Seton Hall last week.
Sources close to Billmeier told us that the Pirates made some great strides in convincing him to play for the Hall in the Big East in 2003-2004. Billmeier is a rising senior who has intrigued many top programs with his size and skills.

Billmeier has already taken an official visit to Pittsburgh. Billmeier also praised that visit too. He took that trip with fellow New Jersey native Sean Banks, a player who told RivalsHoops.com that he enjoyed seeing the new arena that the Panthers plan on playing in soon.
Billmeier has also toured the Virginia campus but with a broken hand. Grant took this visit in May when he was on the UVA campus for the Southern Invitational. Billmeier doesn't have a cast anymore and appears to be recovering properly.
Billmeier is a good rebounder and solid passer for a big man. He needs to further polish his offensive skills. Seton Hall and Pittsburgh have each offered him a scholarship.
Rutgers, Rhode Island, Colorado, Villanova, Notre Dame, Purdue and Wake Forest have also expressed interest too in Billmeier.
