Big Mans List Taking Shape

Mbainai Narmbaye, a 6-9, 235 pound power forward/center from Life Center Academy in Burlington, N.J., has set up his first three in-home visits in September.
Rivalshoops spoke to LCA Head Coach Darryl Gladden, and he told us that Narmbaye (aka Roman) will host St. Joe's on Sept. 9, Colorado on Sept. 11 and UMass on Sept. 12.

Others who are also expected to plan in-homes include LaSalle and Rutgers.
"He wants to stay close to home (New Jersey), that's what it's coming down to," Gladden explained.
Narmbaye came to this country from African nation of Chad within the past year. A lefty big man with an excellent shooting touch, he projects as a power forward at the college level. Because of his defensive prowess in the paint, some may be tempted to play him at the five slot in college.
Narmbaye was impressive at the Best of the Summer Tournament in Los Angeles last month. He played particularly well in Youth Interlock's loss to the Arizona Stars, and he seems to play his best when challenged by other big men.
We'll keep you posted on this big man's recruitment as the fall unfolds, so stay tuned.
