Big Man Taking Trips

Drew Naymick, a well built 6-10, 230 pound power forward/center from North Muskegon H.S. in North Muskegon, Mich., is currently on the campus of Michigan for an unofficial visit. It was only last week that Naymick headed out to the West Coast to visit a relative. On his way out to the West Coast, Naymick stopped by the campus of Stanford and took a look around.
In previous interviews with Drew, he has stated that Michigan and Michigan State are among his top schools. But the Buckeyes of Ohio State are also very strong and have a legitimate shot at Naymick. And Stanford, Notre Dame, and Wake Forest have also been mentioned seriously.

Naymick had previously visited Michigan, Michigan State, and Ohio State. Marquette and Wisconsin are also in the mix but reside outside the top six at this point in time.
A broad shouldered redhead, Naymick has particularly fine touch around and facing the basket, and has a solid low post game with his back to the tin. He moves adequately and seems to be pretty coordinated.
Naymick plans to attend the USA Youth Development Festival in Colorado Springs next month as well as the Nike All-American Camp in July. He will then tour the summer circuit with the Grand Rapids Storm program, whose summer stops should include Jerry Mullen's Kansas City tournament and the adidas Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas.
This past season, Naymick averaged 22 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks per game. A terrific student, he holds a 3.63 GPA and has notched a 29 score on the ACT.
