Big Man Ready For Another Trip

Grant Billmeier, a 6-10, 230 pound power forward/center from St. Patrick H.S. in Elizabeth, N.J., will take an official visit to Seton Hall this Wednesday, according to sources close to Billmeier.
Billmeier has already taken an official visit to Pittsburgh. He took that trip with fellow New Jersey native Sean Banks.

Billmeier has also toured the Virginia campus but with a broken hand. Grant took this visit in May when he was on the UVA campus for the Southern Invitational. "I broke it playing pickup ball," Billmeier said. "It started to swell during the week so I went to the doctor. I am going to be out six to eight weeks."
Well, six week to eight weeks have passed. Billmeier got his cast off yesterday. So it may be a while now before Grant recovers to full speed.
Billmeier is a good rebounder and solid passer for a big man. He is still working on his offensive skills, and how much he develops those in the coming months could dictate exactly where Billmeier winds up on the high Division I spectrum. Seton Hall and Pittsburgh have each offered him a scholarship.
Rutgers, Rhode Island, Colorado, Villanova, Notre Dame, Purdue and Wake Forest have also expressed interest too in Billmeier. Rutgers, Rhode Island, and Colorado have offered, according to Billmeier.
