A wild couple of weeks came to an end for three-star big man Abou Ousmane on Thursday night when he announced his third college commitment.

The 6-foot-8 big man committed Rhode Island two weeks ago before opening up just six days after his commitment. Now the product of the Scotland (Pa.) Performance Institute is off the board again.

This time, he's committed to North Texas giving the Mean Green their third commitment in as many days and making it three schools total that Ousmane has committed to after a commitment to Cleveland State last summer.

All that matters to Grant McCassland and the Green is that they are getting the last word from Ousmane because he can help.

He's a big and strong space eater with soft touch around the rim. He can score with either hand around the rim and also has the skill and shooting ability to step out and make jumpers facing the rim.

Coming off of their Conference USA title, Ousmane is a huge pickup for North Texas and he should be able to provide immediate help on the interior.

The fourth member of the 2020 class, Ousmane's commitment comes on the heels of three-stars Mykell Robinson and Mardrez McBride. The recruiting class is rounded out by three-star guard Rubin Jones who signed during the early period.
