Big Man Has Many Offers

Aaron Gray, a 6-11, 280 pound center from Emmaus H.S. in Emmaus, Penn., told us tonight he has offers from Temple, Florida State, St. Joe's, Penn State, and Providence.
Gray has attracted quite a bit of interest this spring from big-time college programs.

Gray helped the 3-on-3 Enterprises team [aka Sonny Hill Seniors] reach the semifinals of the Open Division at the Hoop Group/Converse Jam Fest in Providence, R.I. early last month.
Gray is a huge physical obstacle for defenders to get around, and he can also alter shots flat-footed. On the plus side, he's got good hands and foot work, meaning that the potential is there for him to become a potent offensive force down the road.
Gray is also considering LaSalle, Maryland, Rutgers, Villanova, Virginia Tech, Kentucky and Drexel.
Gray averaged 16 points, 12 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 4.5 blocks per game for Emmaus this past winter. He first came to the attention of the Insiders Report last summer at the Sonny Hill Future Stars Tournament, where he played with the Keystone Blazers, and again at the Charlie Weber Tournament in September [with the Jersey Shore Warriors].
In addition to playing with 3-on-3, Gray said he will also play with the Blazers in some upcoming events, and has committed to play with Rick Barrett's Gym Rats program at the adidas Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas.
Gray said he will attend the adidas ABCD Camp in New Jersey come July, and also hopes to attend a session of the Eastern Invitational Basketball Clinic.
Gray said he has a 3.0 GPA and will take the SAT for the first time in June.
