Big Man Getting D-1 Looks

Reggie Rizer, a 6-10, 220 pound center from Dodge City C.C. in Dodge City, Kan., has generated some Division I recruiting interest this fall.
Although he is a bit of a project who lacks strength in his lower body, Rizer's size alone make him intriguing to colleges at the lower end of the Division I spectrum.

Dodge City Head Coach Brian Hoberecht told JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com that Old Dominion, Tennessee-Martin and Texas Pan American have contacted him regarding Rizer.
Rizer has a decent looking frame above the waist but he plays in spurts while out on the court.
Coach Hoberecht said that Rizer is not a certainty to graduate come the spring, so he could become a Division II/NAIA recruiting target if his fall classroom performance is not up to par.
Rizer transferred into Dodge City after spending last year at Southwest Missouri State/West Plains J.C. He is a native of Madison, Wis.
