RICHMOND, VIRGINIA -- Martin Iti, a 6-11, 230 pound center from Massachusetts Winchendon Academy, showed he's continuing to improve his game at this week's NBA Players Association High School Camp at VCU's Siegel Center.
Iti, who was born in Australia, was a dominating force in the paint at the NBPA camp. "I really learned a lot from the ex-NBA centers this week," he said.
Rivalshoops.com previously saw Iti play six times since the beginning of the 2001-02 season. He has the skills to be an impact player.
Iti said that his top schools are UCLA, Southern Cal and Connecticut. He also is being recruited by Cincinnati, Louisvile, Memphis, North Carolina and Syracuse. He said he made use of his participation in AAU events on college campuses to check out the local schools while he was there.
Iti has yet to take the SAT. He will take the test in the fall. And his major on the next level: culinary arts.
He plays with the Pump 'n Run and his summeer schedule includes the adidas ABCD camp in New Jersey and the Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas.
