Big 12 School Has Interest In Pinnock
J.R. Pinnock, Coastal Christian's 6-5, 200 pound swingman from in Virginia Beach, Va., has had more schools contact him and his coach since he completed play at the War at the Shore event in Delaware. "I now have had interest from Georgia State, Wyoming, East Carolina, and Hartford," Pinnock said. "And my coach was contacted by Oklahoma."
Pinnock said he has interest in all the above schools. Pinnock is certainly a high major athlete, and the 6-4 swingman from Georgia has attracted significant Division I looks with his recent decision to sign late.
Earlier this fall, Pinnock had committed to Wichita State but later reneged. While his three point shot wasn't falling consistently at the War on the Shore, Pinnock showed great elevation and the ability to finish acrobatically around the basket. His senior campaign at Coastal Christian will go a long way in determining where Pinnock winds up next fall.
Stanford was previously mentioned by Pinnock's coach as having interest in J.R. Wichita State has backed out now that Pinnock has decided not to sign.
